Aideen Kavanagh

SINGER / SONG WRITER

Aideen Kavanagh is a jazz and soul vocalist and songwriter performing for the past seven years in both London and Ireland. Studying in both Trinity College Dublin and NUI Maynooth, Aideen is passionate about infusing her love of literature and storytelling with her songwriting. She is currently studying Contemporary Jazz Performance and was recently accepted to a course at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She is heavily influenced by the iconic Motown era and contemporary jazz vocalists such as Amy Winehouse and Carleen Anderson. Her musical career to date has included Electric Picnic Music Festival and Floraditas, the original location of the Marquee Bar frequented by Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix and the Rolling Stones.
