Maria Kelly
SINGER / SONG WRITER
Maria Kelly is a singer/songwriter from Mayo, Ireland. She began playing guitar at the age of 10 and has been writing songs ever since. Her music is an eclectic fusion of genres, ranging from acoustic-indie-folk to pop/rock, while her lyrics explore the people she meets and the thoughts that they think.
When performing, she explores each end of the musical-spectrum, from sparse, intricate guitar work to catchy pop/rock melodies.
Since the self-release of her Debut EP 'Boat', Maria has showcased her captivating live performance in such venues as Whelanslive, The Button Factory, Cyprus Avenue, The Roisin Dubh & The Workmans Club.
She is currently studying Songwriting in BIMM Dublin and continues gigging around the city.
